About Us

 

I am a farmer by profession, a gardener and animal lover by heart.  I am Bernardo - you can call me Bernie too -  After 33 years in the corporate world, I am now happily retired and living here at Angelfields.  The Lord has blessed me with two children and 3 grandchildren. I look forward to many more grandchildren and hope they will someday come live and help me here at Angelfields.

Angelfields is:  MY HOME, MY FARM, and MY NATURE SANCTUARY.  We are located in Silang, Cavite, Philippines.  Blessed with rich volcanic soils, situated at an elevation of 1450 feet above sea level, abundant rainfall, a cool and pleasant climate and only an hour drive from the city of Manila. We acquired the property in 1997, since then we have never stopped planting — trees, various kinds of bamboo, flowers, and herbs.  This year we turn 19 years old.   Without the flora and fauna — we have nothing to offer.  Structures can be built in months but it takes two decades for a tree to show its beauty!

 

 

Over the years, Angelfields has expanded with more animals. We try to create a natural bird sanctuary that where kingfishers, yellow orioles and a number of migratory birds can take refuge - we have doves, lories, 2 mares, a German shepherd, Dorper sheep, Pekin ducks, and some free-range chickens. 

 

 

In 2012 Saint John Paul II Pavilion was designed and completed by Architect Luigi Sison.  We welcome families who wish to have quiet time and prayer - or - celebrate the Eucharist at the Saint John Paull II Chapel.  In the dining area, families and friends can converge to have their meals.  The kitchen (Cucina Bernardo) prepares homemade dishes by our Chefs.  Since its completion, we are overwhelmed with the positive response and desire for many families to celebrate memories at Angelfields.
